Jenna Fischer's most recognizable part is as Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. Fischer was awarded 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was inspired by her mom's church performances when she first started out.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her home base after finishing The Office. The Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. Then, she starred in Steve Martin's newest show Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer started her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The podcast quickly became popular. Every week, it was among the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million in just its initial two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books, The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide that details her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actor, as well as the upcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two of the Best Friends Who Were There (co-authored with Angela Kinsey), which is the story of their greatest friendship as well as their work in The Office.
