Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how that revelation has affected the way she raises her adoptive multiracial children. She revealed in an interview recently that, with regards to skin color there is no difference. However, after talking to her sister who is adopted in South Korea she realized just how differently society treats the children. "I asked my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd been treated in one manner while out in public with our parents and in a different manner in the time she was on her own without anyone else. Meg responded "Oh Yes, all the time!" Heigl revealed to Parents that it made her realize just how foolish she was. She confessed that she was mad and felt the need to use this anger to help her children. Heigl is engaged to Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. then Adalaide who was 8 years old and is Black in 2012.
